With nearly three decades of experience in sales and sales leadership – more than half of that time dedicated to selling technology solutions to Financial Institutions – Edward brings unparalleled expertise in go-to-market (GTM) strategies and business growth. Having held leadership roles at industry giants like Kantata, nCino, Salesforce, Oracle, and BEA Systems, he has a proven track record of driving success in competitive markets.
Edward was selected for his ability to challenge the status quo, think creatively, and lead with a customer-centric approach. His strategic mindset and deep understanding of financial technology sales will be invaluable as Muinmos continues to expand its global reach. In this article, Edward shares his reasons for joining Muinmos, his areas of expertise, and his vision for the company’s future.
1. Why did you decide to join Muinmos’ Advisory Board?
Muinmos operates in domain which is fundamental to client experience and therefore, due to the inherently complex compliance and regulatory obligations, is an area many financial institutions still have significant ground to make up compared to other industries.
2. What is your main area of expertise that you will be bringing to the team?
A passion for best in class selling and implementing GTM strategies to drive sustainable revenue growth. There is so much room for improvement across our industry.
3. What do you consider Muinmos’ biggest strength to be?
The rich set of ‘out of the box rules’ and IP which drives frictionless onboarding. Regulated industries by definition have more complex onboarding processes, but Muinmos offers their clients the potential to dramatically reduce the time to execution and therefore revenue.
4. What are your hopes and expectations for Muinmos?
To be able to achieve and exceed the annual recurring revenue ambitions which Remonda and her team have set out.
5. In your view, what is the most compelling reason why a Financial Institution should select Muinmos as their client onboarding platform?
Referring back to my first answer, its all about the customer experience. Muinmos can help their customers deliver a compelling customer experience at a fraction of the cost to alternatives. This will allow Muinmos’ customers to not only differentiate themselves to acquire and retain their customers, but to do so at a significantly lower cost. Both of these materially impact Cost to Income ratios and ultimately EBITDA.
